BACKGROUND:
On November 21, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606788-23 for Edaphic Components of LV Bearpoppy Habitat to Southern Utah University (OBE) in the amount of $241,300 for research of Las Vegas Bearpoppy population.The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:• The term of the Agreement was from date of award through December 31, 2025, and included a 6-month extension. • Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.Approval of Amendment No. 1 will revise the Project Schedule, Milestone and Deliverables in Exhibit A. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.
