BACKGROUND: 

The County will provide $2,500 in Fiscal Year 2022/2023 County Outside Agency Grant (OAG) funds to Clark County School District to assist with the operational costs for the Las Vegas High School Mariachi Program (LVHSM).

The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.

During the Program year ending June 30, 2023, CCSD will pay for program-related activities. Specifically, the objectives of the LVHSM through June 30, 2023 will be to pay for program-related activities including travel and lodging to Los Angeles to perform at the Emmy Fox 5 award. Travel and lodging will be limited to per diem rates as established by the General Services Administration. Meals and Incidental Expenses are not an eligible use of the Funds.

The District Attorney's office has reviewed and approved the resolution as to form.
