BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606646-23, for Annual Requirements Contract for Traffic Sign Modification, Installation & Maintenance was advertised on June 28, 2023 and opened on July 26, 2023. The Bid amounts are as follows:

Highway Striping and Signs, LLC (NBE) $877,864.50
Nevada Barricade and Sign Company (NBE) $1,055,955.00
J and J Enterprise Services, Inc. (NBE) $1,216,825.00
This Contract is for traffic sign modification, installation and maintenance for Public Works projects throughout Clark County.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through August 31, 2024 and includes the option to renew for 3, one-year periods and includes a 6 month extension.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 20% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.065.2, if the governing body or its authorized representative has advertised for or requested bids in letting a contract, the governing body or its authorized representative must award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Highway Striping and Signs, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
