BACKGROUND:

On August 9, 2018, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Cactus Avenue between Fort Apache Road and Buffalo Drive project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds.

The Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1025 on September 4, 2018, to provide funds for engineering for the subject project.  The attached Supplemental No. 1 to this interlocal contract will increase total funds to cover the County's right-of-way costs for this project.

This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund in Fiscal Year 2021.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on April 8, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
