BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds to design and construct flood improvements. On June 10, 2021, the County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for the Fairgrounds Detention Basin and Outfall project. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on July 6, 2021.

Supplemental No. 2 to the interlocal contract increases funding for construction and construction management due to plan revisions, fugitive water, dam embankment time impact delay costs, and consultant fees.

RFCD approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on October 10, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
