BACKGROUND: 

In order to preserve access to inpatient and outpatient hospital services for needy individuals in the State of Nevada, the State’s Medicaid hospital reimbursement system shall provide supplemental payments to University Medical Center (UMC).  In consideration of these payments, Clark County will make payment to the DHCFP in an amount equal to the federally required participation share of the total inpatient and outpatient Medicaid UPL supplemental payments made to UMC beginning July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023.
