BACKGROUND:
On March 1, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605996-21 for Public Health Nurse Liaison Services to Southern Nevada Health District (NBE) in the amount not to exceed $405,392 for public health nurse liaison services.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for 2 additional one-year renewal terms. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180, the parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
