BACKGROUND:
On May 4, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved an interlocal contract with the Bullhead City Pest Abatement District (BCPAD) for the joint responsibility of administering an Aquatic Insect Suppression Program to suppress both black flies and caddisflies along the Colorado River from Davis Dam, south approximately 13 miles downstream to the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation. The approved interlocal contract provided the option of four one-year renewals.
The Board of County Commissioners approved and authorized the first renewal option on May 17, 2022.
At this time, BCPAD desires to exercise the second option of renewal for one year, effective July 1, 2023.
Approval and authorization of this second renewal option is being sought from the Board.
