BACKGROUND:
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved the Regional Big Data Mobility Analytics and Safety Platform on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2027, Fiscal Year 2028, and Fiscal Year 2029.
This project will provide a regional mobility analytics and safety platform that supports transportation planning, operations, performance monitoring, and safety analysis for Clark County and the local agencies. The platform will deliver access to transportation, freight, active transportation, and safety data through interactive dashboards, mapping tools, and analytical reporting capabilities. Funding approval will allow Clark County to advertise to select a vendor solution, and the funding will support platform licensing, user access, training, technical support, and ongoing account management for Clark County and the local agencies. The term of the contract is effective until December 31, 2031, unless time extensions are granted.
RTC has prepared Interlocal Contract No. 3299 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on July 13, 2026.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
