BACKGROUND: 

On May 17, 2001, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 373 providing funding for the Sandy Valley - Columbia Pass and Miami Street project (Public Works No. PW.R00120A) from development taxes and RTC Highway Improvement Acquisition Funds. On June 5, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 373 allocating funding for engineering and future funding for right-of-way acquisition and construction for street improvements for Columbia Pass Road and Miami Street from Eagle Avenue to Quartz Avenue for the subject project.

Supplemental No. 8 to Interlocal Contract No. 373 extends the contract term until December 31, 2031, unless further time extensions are granted.  The current total contract value for the subject project is $1,244,350.

RTC has prepared Supplemental No. 8 to Interlocal Contract No. 373 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the eighth supplemental contract at its meeting on July 9, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the eighth supplemental contract as to form.
