There is no fiscal impact as it is simply a reclassification of cash within the Fund.
BACKGROUND:
On June 1, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Clark County, Nevada, approved the establishment of a change bank in the amount of $200.00 for Las Vegas Justice Court - Court Education DUI/Traffic School. The purpose of this change bank was to allow Las Vegas Justice Court personnel to make change for cash paying students required to attend court-ordered DUI/Traffic School.The purpose for which the change bank was established no longer applies. Las Vegas Justice Court no longer teaches court-ordered classes.Appropriate adjustments will be made to the general ledger for the returned funds.
