BACKGROUND:
On December 7, 2021, Clark County (County) entered into a Sublease with Changing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD) for ±3,971 square feet of space at 1750 Wheeler Peak Drive for the purposes of constructing dental related tenant improvements and operating a non-profit dental clinic to service underserved children in the community with an opening date of December 7, 2022.
Subsequently, the County entered Amendment I with CSPD to extend the opening date to March 31, 2023 with one (1) ninety (90) day extension, Amendment II to extend the opening date to August 31, 2023 and Amendment III to extend the opening date to January 31, 2024.
Due to further construction delays and needed repairs, CSPD has requested to have the clinic open on or before March 19, 2024.
Amendment IV will extend the opening date to on or before March 19, 2024 and award an additional Twenty-Two Thousand ($22,000) for tenant improvement reimbursement.
