BACKGROUND: 

The State of Nevada's Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) Grant Management Unit (GMU) issued a subaward to support legal services in the Safe Babies Court program from July 1, 2026 to September 29, 2026. Previously the District Court funded the attorneys directly through the Infant-Toddler Court Program Maternal and Child Health Federal Consolidated Programs, Health Resources and Services Administration Grant. A Subaward was awarded to the OAC to administer the attorney appointments in representing parents as part of Safe Babies implementation in Clark County
