BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607279-24, for Traffic Signal Improvements at Jones Boulevard and Silverado Ranch Boulevard, Vegas Valley Drive and Hollywood Boulevard was advertised on October 23, 2024 and opened on November 13, 2024. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for work to be performed at the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Silverado Ranch Boulevard that includes constructing new traffic signal poles; installing mast arms, signal heads, luminaires, and appurtenance on existing poles; installing retaining walls and a modified chain link fence; removing and installing signs; removing and salvaging street light poles; and installing ITS infrastructure (pull boxes, vaults, conduits, wiring, fiber optic cable and splices, and tracer cable). Hollywood Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive includes installing mast arms, signal heads, luminaires, and illuminated street signs; GPS preemption; an audible/tactile pedestrian push button system; metro power outlets on all four corners of the traffic signal; vehicle detection for both loop and video systems; flashing yellow arrows; 1-inch mill and overlay; and permanent signs and pavement markings and miscellaneous improvements as shown on the drawings within the unincorporated area of Clark County, Nevada.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 99 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
