Funds are available in various funds for projects anticipated to be completed through the end of FY 2027.

 

BACKGROUND: 

The attached FY 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes a detailed listing of the capital projects recommended for approval. Pursuant to NRS 350.013 and 354.5945, the County is required to annually update and submit a five-year Capital Improvement Program to the County Clerk and the State Department of Taxation by August 1st. In order to meet this statutory filing deadline, staff transmitted the FY 2027-2031 CIP to the County Clerk and the State Department of Taxation on August 1st, prior to formal Board approval.

Staff recommends that the Board ratify the transmittal described above and approve the project allocations for the various funds for projects anticipated to be completed through the end of FY 2027 and adopt the attached plan for future years, confirming the County’s compliance with state statutes.
