BACKGROUND:
The augmentation procedure, as prescribed by NRS 354.598005, is a two-meeting process and this action represents the final step in this process. At the June 3, 2025 Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Board directed the Clerk to publish the Notice of Intent to Act on a Resolution to Augment the Medical Assistance to Indigent Persons Fund (2380) budget.
The additional appropriations will be used for salaries and wages, employee benefits, services and supplies, capital outlay, and/or operating transfers.
The publication was accomplished on June 10, 2025, to meet legal requirements. Therefore, in order to complete the augmentation procedure, the attached Resolution to Augment the Fiscal Year 2025 Medical Assistance to Indigent Persons Fund (2380) must be adopted. Following adoption of the Resolution to Augment, the Resolution will be forwarded to the State of Nevada Department of Taxation.
