BACKGROUND:
The State of Nevada has reached a settlement with Remnant Defendants, Associated Pharmacies, Inc. (and Associated Pharmacies), J M, Smith Corporation, Morris and Dickson Co., LLC, Louisiana Wholesale Drug Company, Inc., North Carolina Mutual Wholesale Drug Company, Inc., and United Natural Foods, Inc./Super Valu) (hereinafter "Remnant Defendants") in Clark County District Court Case, A-19-769755-B to resolve all claims brought against Remnant Defendants by the State of Nevada and Participating Subdivisions. Under the proposed settlement, the State of Nevada will receive $1,134,430.04. The settlement documents can be found at https://nationalopioidsettlement.com under the additional settlements tab. The settlement proceeds will be distributed to local governments in Nevada in accordance with the One Nevada Agreement previously approved by the Board.
