The total Contract award is estimated in the amount of $11,603,661 should all renewal options be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Contract is for the implementation of property tax assessment software with Manatron, Inc. (NBE).

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because County's current software is sunsetting and upgrading to the providers new platform would significantly reduce implementation cost.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The term of the Contract is from date of award through Go-Live and includes the option to renew for 4,                      one-year periods.
                     Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 3% based on possible increased user requirements                      for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate the Contract for convenience and either party to terminate the                      Contract for default with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(h), the competitive bidding process is not required as the item to be purchased pertains to software for computers.

Manatron, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
