BACKGROUND:

On May 9, 2023, Clark County approved a traffic study warrant for the intersection of Red Rock Ranch Road and Red Springs Drive, requiring a traffic signal to be installed. Summerlin Development Management Company, LLC has agreed to pay for fifty percent (50%) of the costs for Clark County to design, construct and install this traffic signal.

The traffic signal agreement sets forth the terms of the property owner’s monetary contribution for the work to be constructed and maintained by the County. The term of the agreement remains in place until the earlier of either the date the traffic signal is constructed, or December 31, 2026, unless there is a mutual agreement to extend the date.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the agreement as to form.
