BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606885-23, for Laughlin Roads Areas 4, 5 Rehabilitation was advertised on January 9, 2024 and opened on January 30, 2024. The Bid amounts are as follows:

Las Vegas Paving Corporation (NBE) $7,450,000.00
Monument Construction (NBE) $9,749,070.80
This Contract is for improvements to local streets in Laughlin, Nevada, including pavement removal and replacement, sidewalk ramp reconstruction to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) current standards, permanent striping and signing, utility adjustments, storm drain improvements, and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project. The work also consists of miscellaneous removal, disposal, and salvage/replacement of designated items, traffic control, dust control, quality control, and other related items of work as specified and shown on the drawings.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 210 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
