BACKGROUND: 

In October 2020, Clark County (County) began negotiations with the City of Henderson (COH) for a DJJS Henderson Harbor (Harbor) Sublease on space located at 98 East Lake Mead Parkway, Suite 207, Henderson, Nevada 89015.  The mission of the Harbor is to provide a safe place to connect youth and their families to services they may need.  The goal is to prevent youth from entering the local juvenile justice system by helping families cope with problem behavior before issues potentially escalate into more serious trouble.  The Harbor would be the fifth location in the County.  On December 15, 2020, Henderson City Council approved their Master Lease for Suite 207 subject to securing a sublease with the County for the Harbor.

The sublease terms are for ±2,061 square feet of office space with a five (5) year initial term, five (5) - three (3) year options to renew, no rent ($0.00), utilities and janitorial to be paid by DJJS except for anything covered under the Master Lease.
