Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $2,033,000, and Supplemental Nos. 1 through 4 combined amounts increased the contract by $300,000. Supplemental No. 5 increase of $125,000 revises the total contract value to $2,458,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On August 8, 2013, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 725 for the Carey Avenue between Nellis Boulevard and Toiyabe Street project on its annual Capital Improvement Plan. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on September 3, 2013.

Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract No. 725 will provide additional design funds to cover costs associated with an agreement with NV Energy. The time of performance remains effective until June 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the fifth supplemental contract at its meeting on November 14, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
