Amendment No. 5 will decrease the Contract amount by $9,000.80, for a new total Contract amount of $725,235.97 annually.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On August 6, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605011-18 for Software, Licenses and Professional Services for Las Vegas Justice Court Case Management to Tyler Technologies, Inc. (LBE) in the amount of $292,236.77 annually to provide software, licenses, support and professional services to the Case Management System for the Las Vegas Justice Court.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

                     The term of the Contract was from date of award until the County no longer requires maintenance and                      support of the software.
                     Included the option to increase the award amount up to 5% based on possible increased user requirements                      for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
                     Included the option to increase the award amount up to 6% for possible price increases for renewal terms,                      per amendment No 4.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Amendment No. 1 provided for professional services for the case management system. It also revised Exhibit B to allow for a 3% cap on annual increases for the maintenance and support fees.

Amendment No. 2 added the product Defendant Access.

Amendment No. 3 added Exhibit 2c in its entirety.

Amendment No. 4 revised Exhibit B per amendment No. 1, added Revised Schedule 1- Investment Summary, and Exhibits C and D.

Approval of Amendment No. 5 will remove product NCSC CourTools from the Schedule 1- Investment Summary, maintenance and support list.  The attached Amendment No. 5 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Tyler Technologies, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
