BACKGROUND:

On April 17, 2012, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with WSP USA Solutions Inc. (formerly known as Louis Berger Group U.S., Inc.) to provide engineering services for the design options and pre-design of the Fairgrounds - Whipple Detention Basin project (No. PW.FMOA03A). In December 2018, the Louis Berger companies merged with the WSP family of companies, and Louis Berger changed its corporate name to WSP USA Solutions Inc.

Supplemental No. 5 to the professional engineering services contract with WSP USA Solutions Inc. will extend the contract termination date to December 31, 2028, for seed collection and weed monitoring.

WSP USA Solutions Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
