BACKGROUND:

The owner of the property (South 80 LLC - Manager, Michael J Gaughan; Registered Agent, K Michael Leavitt, Esq.) requests that Clark County relinquish a perpetual avigation easement encumbering a parcel located on the northwest corner of E. Frias St. and Ensworth St. (APN: 177-29-701-021).  The property owner recently purchased the property and seeks the relinquishment to clear title to the property encumbered by the easement. The request to relinquish the easement has been reviewed and approved by the Department of Aviation ("DOA") as the DOA has determined that the easement is no longer necessary.

The District Attorney's Office recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Relinquishment of Perpetual Avigation Easement.
