BACKGROUND:

The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the maintenance of flood control facilities.  On April 8, 2021, the County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for the Las Vegas Wash - Branch 02 - Monson Channel - Jimmy Durante Boulevard to Boulder Highway project.  The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on May 4, 2021.

Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract was approved by RFCD on March 10, 2022 and the County on April 5, 2022, respectively, for additional design engineering funds.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to the interlocal contract increases total funds for design and environmental and to change scope of the subject project.

This project is approved on RFCD's annual Ten-Year Construction Program, and is described in the 2018 Clark County Flood Control Master Plan Update, Structure Nos. LV02-0209, 0273, 0282, and 0294.  RFCD approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on June 9, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
