BACKGROUND: 

On December 18, 2018, the Board approved an interlocal contract with the State allowing the Clark County Fire Department to obtain reimbursement of costs incurred for emergency transportation and ground ambulance services provided to eligible recipients in accordance with the State of Nevada Medicaid State Plan.  The existing contract is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2025.  This will renew the existing agreement for a period of four years.

The interlocal contract will be effective July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2029 unless terminated prior to the date by either party.

The contract has been approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office.
