Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $1,250,000. Supplemental No. 1 increase of $627,000 revises the total contract value to $1,877,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On August 20, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for the Tompkins Avenue between Koval Lane and University Center Drive project.

Supplemental No. 1 to the professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. will provide additional design services to incorporate a detached sidewalk on the south side of Tompkins Avenue, and the design of roadway improvements on Koval Lane from north of Tropicana Avenue to north of Harmon Avenue. The time of performance remains effective to December 31, 2027, unless time extensions are granted.

GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved this first supplemental contract as to form.
