BACKGROUND:
On January 21, 2025, Request for Qualification (RFQ) No. 607465-25 was advertised on the Clark County Purchasing website and in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Submittals were requested for qualified firms to provide homemaker home health aide services.
Submittals were received from the following firms: see attached Submittal Summary.
An Ad-Hoc Committee comprised of 4 subject matter experts from Social Service Department reviewed and evaluated the submittals. After the evaluation, the Ad-Hoc Committee ranked the firms in the order listed in the attached Submittal Summary.
The Ad-Hoc Committee recommends the selection of the firms noted on the Submittal Summary.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contracts:
• The term of the Contracts are from date of award through June 30, 2026 and includes the option to renew for 4, one-year periods and includes a 3-month extension.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Additional providers identified will be qualified by Clark County Social Service Department in accordance with the requirements of the RFQ and Purchasing and Contracts will execute the Master Contract with these providers.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1, a discretionary award process is permissible because the County requires the services of some or all qualified providers of these services and, therefore, the contract is not, by its nature, adaptable to competitive bidding. Pursuant to internal policies and procedures, Clark County solicited these services through RFQ process.
All recommended firms are in compliance with Clark County Business License requirements.
All future qualified providers will be required to hold Clark County Business License or Vendor Registration, prior to Contract award.
