BACKGROUND:

On July 14, 2022, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) and Clark County entered into Interlocal Contract No. 3045 for the Hacienda Avenue between Rainbow Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard project in RTC's Highway Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 2023. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on August 2, 2022.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 3045 increases total funds for construction to cover the increased cost due to bid amounts higher than the engineer's estimate. The time of performance remains effective to December 31, 2027, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on June 8, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
