BACKGROUND: 

On July 12, 2018, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1021 for the Arterial Reconstruction Program: Clark County Maintenance Fiscal Year 2019 project (No. PW.R135AB1) on its annual Capital Improvement Program initially from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.  The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on August 7, 2018, for engineering for the project.

RTC and the Board subsequently approved six supplemental contracts increasing total funds for engineering and to cover County internal labor costs and right-of-way costs for Jones Boulevard between Tropicana Avenue and Clark County 215.

The attached Supplemental No. 7 to Interlocal Contract 1021 extends the term of the contract for the project to June 30, 2028, unless further time extensions are granted. The current total contract value for the subject project is $28,345,000.

RTC approved the seventh supplemental contract at its meeting on June 8, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the seventh supplemental contract as to form.
