BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607150-24, for Traffic Signal Improvements at Various Locations #207B and Grand Canyon Drive Striping Modification was advertised on August 29, 2024 and opened on September 26, 2024. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the construction of a fully operational Traffic Signal Systems at the intersections of Hualapai Way/Spring Mountain Road, Red Rock Ranch Road/Red Springs Drive and Warm Spring Road/El Capitan Way in Clark County, Nevada. The work will generally consist of demolition, removal, and disposal of existing improvements and removal and salvage of designated items; cold planning; sidewalk ramp reconstruction for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) current standards; miscellaneous roadway improvements including UTACS, median, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement markings and markers, and permanent signs; valve box and manhole adjustments; installation of traffic signal system and appurtenances; installation of ITS systems; traffic control; dust control; miscellaneous improvements as shown on the drawings.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 140 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
