BACKGROUND:
On July 20, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the Fire Chief to accept donations to the department in an amount not to exceed $2,500 in personal property and $1,000 in monetary donations. Individual donations valued at more than $2,500 in personal property or $1,000 in cash will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for acceptance at a regularly scheduled meeting.The Budin Group has pledged a contribution of $5,000 to Clark County Fire Station 17 in support of the station’s community engagement efforts, including providing back-to-school supplies for neighborhood children.The Clark County Fire Department appreciates the generosity and recommends acceptance of the donation.
