BACKGROUND:
On November 19, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605465-19 to SHI International Corp. (LBE) in the amount of $28,500,000 for Information Technology Solutions and Services.
Contract is for the purchase of equipment, software, peripherals and related services with SHI International Corp. (LBE).
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract: • The term of the Contract was from March 1, 2018, through February 28, 2023, and included the option to renew for two (2), one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining. • Clark County is not under exclusive contract with SHI International Corp. and therefore, can cease purchasing products and services at any time.
A revised Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because it is necessary to continue purchasing hardware, software, and support.
This approval will provide for a funding increase due to required maintenance renewals, anticipated new purchases, and additional services.
SHI International Corp. currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
