BACKGROUND:

The Board of County Commissioners approved a critical labor shortage (CLS) for a two-year period, beginning November 7, 2023 and continuing through November 7, 2025, for Juvenile Probation Officers.

The County and the JJPOA have agreed to amend certain articles of the existing collective bargaining agreement, which apply exclusively to retired employees of the Nevada Public Employee Retirement System who return to work solely under the CLS.

Attachment I is the MOA between the County and the JJPOA.
