This Contract consists of drainage improvements to capture and convey runoff from Frenchman Mountain into the existing Orchard Detention Basin. Project limits are between Charleston Boulevard and Linden Avenue and located in Section 35, Township 20 South, Range 62 East, M.D.M., Clark County, Nevada. Clark County Regional Flood Control District Las Vegas Valley Master Plan update identifies the proposed improvements as Sloan-Orchard SLOR 0158. Improvements include, at a minimum, concrete or roller-compacted concrete channel and levee lining extending from the existing Orchard Detention Basin north inflow channel to the new inflow collector channel terminus approximately 4,230 feet north. Reinforced concrete box is provided under extended roadway alignments and hard lining is proposed at significant inflow locations along the alignment. Additional provisions include maintenance roads, access paths and ramps, fencing, landscaping enhancements, and other necessary appurtenances required to make a complete and serviceable project.



The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                                          The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 360 calendar days from the date specified in                                           the Notice to Proceed.
                                          Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for                                                                                     convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Unicon, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
