BACKGROUND: 

This project provides for the maintenance of the landscape improvements along Las Vegas Boulevard South between Sahara Avenue and Mandalay Bay Road.  Due to increasing annual costs, the County desires to increase the aggregate maximum amount of assessments that may be annually imposed within the District to $1,313,323.08 (the “Aggregate Annual Maximum Assessment Change”).

On April 21, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a revised provisional order resolution calling for a public hearing concerning an increase to the aggregate maximum amount of annual assessments within Improvement District No. 97B (Strip Maintenance).  The hearing has been set for Tuesday May 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., in the Clark County Commission Chambers.
