BACKGROUND:
This is a contract to furnish supplemental traffic control services at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), Henderson Executive Airport (HND), and North Las Vegas Airport (VGT). Services at LAS will be performed daily, and staffing support for periods of higher business volume, such as days projected to have heavier passenger traffic, holidays, special events, etc.
On September 19, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners authorized the award of Bid 24-100081 to Watch Security Services, LLC (Mickle E. Billingsly, Owner). Since award, Watch Security, LLC has been unable to provide the required proof of insurance and endorsements affecting coverage as specified in the Bid. As a result, staff recommends award to the next lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Las Vegas Parking, Inc. (Company).
Bids were received and publicly opened on July 18, 2023.
