BACKGROUND:
This Contract will allow for replacement of the antiquated legacy Airport Operational Systems (AOS) with new integrated, modern software solutions and provide operations and maintenance support.
The AOS is the core platform that coordinates all flight-related activity at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). It manages the real-time assignment of gates, check-in counters, and baggage carousels; maintains the master and day-of flight schedule; and drives the passenger-facing information displays seen throughout both terminals.
The Department of Aviation issued a Request for Proposal 25-001 for the modernization of the AOS on January 17, 2025. Seven proposals were received, and Infax, Inc., was selected through a competitive, multiphase evaluation process.
This Contract is for a five year term from date of award, with three one-year renewal options.
This request is in accordance with NRS 332.115(1)(b) the competitive bidding process is not required because the services to be performed are professional in nature; (h) involve software for computers; (i) and involve maintenance and support of software for computers.
Infax, Inc., currently holds a Clark County business license. This contract has been reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney’s Office.
