BACKGROUND:
On November 21, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. for engineering services for design of the Clark County 215 South Bruce Woodbury Beltway between Decatur Boulevard and Interstate 15 project.
The Board previously approved Supplemental Nos. 1 thru 4 to the professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. for design of Phase 2 of the project, which is considered to be the ultimate configuration of the Beltway, and the redesign of the bridge widening over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks.
Supplemental No. 5 to the professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. increases funding to cover additional design services for Phase 2 improvements, and extends the performance period until December 31, 2027 to support completion of the project.
GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
