BACKGROUND:
On July 2, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract between Clark County and Atkins North America, Inc. for professional engineering services for the project in the amount of $500,000, for Traffic Signal Improvements at Various Locations (Project No. PW.T_Safety), including the design of traffic signals, traffic signal modifications, signs, striping, and median islands.
The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the professional engineering services contract with Atkins North America, Inc. extends the time of performance to December 31, 2022, unless further time extensions are granted, for final project close out and archives including, but not limited to, construction support services and record drawings for traffic signal improvements at Craig Road and Salmon Drive, Desert Inn Road and Topaz Road, and Desert Inn Road and Mountain Vista Street.
Atkins North America, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
