BACKGROUND:

The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the maintenance of flood control facilities.  On April 8, 2021, the County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for the Las Vegas Wash - Branch 02 - Monson Channel - Jimmy Durante Boulevard to Boulder Highway project.  The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on May 4, 2021.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract increases total funds for design engineering for the subject project.

This project is approved on RFCD's annual Ten-Year Construction Program, and is described in the 2018 Clark County Flood Control Master Plan Update, Structure Nos. LV02-0209, 0273, 0282, and 0294.  RFCD approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on March 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
