The total Agreement award will have no cost.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for the operation, staffing, maintenance and resourcing of the FAST Traffic Management Center (TMC), the Freeway Management System (FMS), and the Arterial Management System (AMS) components of the FAST System on behalf of the Nevada Department of Transportation and other entities.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2024 and shall automatically be                      extended annually for one year intervals.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate in writing a minimum of 180 days prior to the Agreement                      expiration date or the Agreement may be terminated at any time if two-thirds of the PARTIES provide                      written notice of their desire to terminate the Agreement.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
