BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 3085 and budgeted funding for the Flamingo Wash Trail between Maryland Parkway and Palos Verdes Street project in RTC's Highway Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 2023. The Board of County Commissioners approved the contract on March 7, 2023.

Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 3085 will provide additional construction funds to cover the cost of Phase 2 of the project. The time of performance remains effective to June 30, 2028, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared the first supplemental contract for the Board's consideration. RTC approved Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 3085 at its meeting on September 10, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
