BACKGROUND:

On August 8, 2019, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1115 for the Moapa Valley Airport Road Relocation project on its annual Capital Improvement Plan from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Direct Distribution Funds. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on September 3, 2019.

Supplemental No. 2 to Interlocal Contract No. 1115 increases funds to cover final project costs. The contract term remains effective until June 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared the second supplemental contract for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on October 9, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
