BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Traffic Safety Improvements Package No. 102 project (Public Works Project No. PW.R050S17) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

Interlocal Contract No. 973 was approved by RTC on December 14, 2017 and by the Board of County Commissioners on January 2, 2018, for the project.  RTC and the Board subsequently approved four supplementals to Interlocal Contract No. 973.  The initial contract amount was $150,000 and Supplemental Nos. 1 through 4 combined amounts increased the contract by $775,000 for a revised total contract value of $925,000.

The attached Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract No. 957 extends the time of performance to June 30, 2027, unless further time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the fifth supplemental contract at its meeting on June 9, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
