The initial Contract amount was $94,050 annually, Amendment No. 1 increased the Contract amount by $94,050, Amendment No. 2 increased the Contract amount by $125,400, Amendment No. 3 increased the Contract amount by $94,050 and Amendment No. 4 will increase the Contract amount by $220,000 for a new total Contract amount of $1,003,750. |
BACKGROUND:
On March 21, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFP No. 604191-16 to ComPsych Employee Assistance Program, Inc. dba ComPsych Corporation (NBE) in the amount of $94,050 annually to provide a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for Clark County employees and household members.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through February 28, 2018, and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 added 1, one-year renewal term and deleted the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) executed with the Contract. It was determined by the Clark County Audit Department that the BAA was not necessary.
Amendment No. 2 extended the Contract term through June 30, 2024.
Amendment No. 3 extended the Contract term through June 30, 2025, to allow for a new Request for Proposal effort to be completed.
Approval of Amendment No. 4 will add 2 one-year renewal options through June 30, 2027, and mental health awareness training for first responders. The attached Amendment No. 4 document details the modifications and costs involved.
