BACKGROUND:
On January 17, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606461-22 for Rare Plant Propagation Research Phase II to U.S. Geological Survey (OBE) in the amount of $628,573 for research on seed ecology, propagation techniques, exploring the feasibility of establishing nursery stock for rare species and creating conservation collection of seeds.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
• The term of the Agreement was from date of award through December 31, 2026.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will revise the Exhibit A, scope of work, page 9, number 20, Seed available for ERVI propagated from soil seed bank and Appendix 1, page 15, deliverable number 14. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.
