BACKGROUND: 

The Office of Community and Economic Development (OCED) seeks to partner to with the Henderson Chamber
of Commerce Foundation (HCCF) to help businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged
individuals build capacity and resiliency.  The Agreement will provide grant sub-awards to businesses that are
majority owned and controlled by disadvantaged individuals enrolled in the HCCF's Business Incubator.  Each
sub-grant will cover the lease of a basic furnished office space with utilities and services for a duration of six
months.  Sub-award recipients will also receive a one-year membership to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce
and access to special programming and resources.

The terms of the Agreement include:
     1.
                     One-time Administrative and Reporting Fee of $4,500;
     2.
                     Funding for up to nine (9) sub-grants in amount not to exceed an aggregate total of $40,500.

The duration period of the Agreement will be two years from the date of approval and execution.
