BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds to design and construct flood improvements. On April 8, 2021, the County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for the Las Vegas Wash - Branch 02 - Monson Channel - Jimmy Durante Boulevard to Boulder Highway project. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on May 4, 2021.

Supplemental No. 3 to the interlocal contract increases design funding for consultant design services to revise final plans and special provisions to meet current Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG). Additional survey work is required to complete the engineering design, which includes field survey shots and creating documents for needed temporary construction easements. The consultant will also provide post design services, included as review, and respond to contractor submittals of shop drawings and requests for information (RFIs), attend construction meetings and prepare project record drawings based on contractor submitted as-built information.

RFCD approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on October 10, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
